Pets traveling in the cabin must use a carrier that complies with all Hawaiian Airlines requirements, which are based on IATA’s Live Animal Regulations. An agent will inspect and measure the carrier at check-in to confirm all requirements are met.

Only dogs, cats and household birds are permitted to travel as checked baggage. Your pet must be in an approved kennel, not to exceed 36” long x 25” wide x 28” high. Your pet and kennel combined must not exceed 70 lbs total.
Hawaiian Airlines welcomes small dogs and cats to fly in the passenger cabin on inter-island flights and flights leaving the State of Hawaii, as long as the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 25 lbs (11 kg). Each passenger can travel with 1 carrier.
