20 cze 2024 · Nice, spacious and very comfortable ferry ride from Heraklion to Santorini. Passengers are free to walk around the ferry area and open decks. We took the ride in May, and the ferry was rather empty. There were less than 10 people in the first class section. Plenty of tables and chairs. Wifi on-board is chargeable at 3 Euros.
We booked two ferries with this line - Athens (Rafina) to Naxos and then Naxos to Thira (Santorini). The first trip was in business class. The ferries were late in both cases, 30 minutes and 2.5 hours. No information was available from the company in advance so we had to sit around at the port.

In this post, I will provide an account of our experience which might seem long but really just read it so you will be prepared for your own ferry trip.
We took the Golden Star Super Express ferry from Mykonos to Paros in mid-May 2024. We found boarding and exiting to be organized and pretty easy. The VIP class seating was comfortable and there was adequate separation from other travelers. We'd choose Golden Star over SeaJets on future trips.

Our ferry ride with the Superferry from Rafina to Tinos was on time, the ship was more or less clean (only one restroom was very dirty). Even it was windy it was a smooth ride.
