A simplified formula for target time is as follows: .117*distance + .517*(longitude of origin – longitude of destination) + 43.2. The formula produces an estimated travel time in minutes. In the formula, distance is the great circle distance converted to miles between the origin and destination airports.
The Flight Time Calculator that tells you the time it takes to travel from two different places with either an aircraft, or the time it takes for sound or light to cross that distance.
Use Great Circle Mapper to calculate the distance and flight duration between all airports worldwide and draw the flight route on a map.
Formula: °C = [(°F - 32) x 5/9] °F = [(°C x 9/5) + 32] Example: 70°F day; Calculate: °C = ((70°F-32) x 5/9) You should come out with 21.1°C; Chart [Figure 1] Start at your initial temperature on the Fahrenheit scale; Move across until you hit the reference line; Move down and read the temperature off of the bottom
Travelmath provides flight information to help you plan a trip. You can calculate things like the straight line distance between cities. Or if you're taking an international flight and you want to plan your arrival time, check the flight time between airports.
Using the distance and speed formulas, you must help develop the schedule for the air metro vehicles. Important: All distances should be in kilometers (km) and all times should be in minutes (min). All speeds should be in kilometers per minute (km/min). Each square of the graph is equal to 1 km.
