This E6B calculator helps pilots to correct their course and speed to account for wind conditions. When you provide ground speed, wind speed, wind direction, and true course, it calculates the wind correction angle, the corrected heading (true heading), and the corrected ground speed.

Find the leg time on either Scale B for minutes Scale C for hours. Read the fuel burned directly across on Scale A. For seconds, use the Second pointer and Scale B.
