Is it a stated dress code or just a de facto one? AFAIK there are very few restaurants in the area with Strict stated dress codes, but walking into Fiola or Rooster & Owl in ratty jeans and a stained hoodie...you are going to be a bit out of place.

In June I am planning on taking a vacation to DC. On two or maybe 3 of the nights I am planning on going to what I would consider a nice restaurant.
