NDLS centres are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. A walk-in service is no longer available, you must book an appointment if attending an NDLS centre in person. Apply Online for, renew, update, exchange or replace your learner permit or driving licence.

To undergo driver testing in Ireland, you must: Complete all mandatory training. For car tests, this means you will need to have completed all 12 Essential Driver Training (EDT) sessions with an RSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). You can access details of ADIs located across the country.
