execute positioned ~-5 ~ ~ as @a[dx=10] run teleport @s 10 30 10. @p is only a single player, I believe the closest player, so you would run the command as @a to use @s in the tp command, and you can have your dx/dy/dz checks in the @a selector.
You can use the positioned component to specify the executing position and then use distance to specify the distance from that position, in your case [distance=0..1].
