21 kwi 2021 · Results. We develop gene-set distance analysis (GSDA) by generalizing distance correlations to evaluate the association of a gene set with categorical and censored event-time variables. We also develop a backward elimination procedure to identify a subset of genes that empirically drive significant associations.
There are a variety of ways to calculate genetic distance, and the main function in this package, gen_dist(), allows a user to choose from five different genetic distances and saves square distance matrices as csv files.

Output formats By default, --distance causes a lower-triangular tab-delimited text file to be written to plink.dist, and a list of corresponding sample IDs to plink.dist.id. The first five modifiers allow you to change the output format.
