12 kwi 2021 · The standard delta checked bag cost is $30 each way for the 1st checked bag if you are flying main cabin on a domestic flight. A second checked bag will cost $40 each way. A third checked bag would cost you $150 each way.
17 lip 2019 · Overweight baggage fees apply to bags that exceed 50 lbs and bags cannot exceed 115 linear in/292 cm (length + width + height). Items in excess of the baggage allowance will be subject to additional, overweight, and oversized baggage fees.
9 sty 2024 · Delta allows you to bring on one personal item and one carry-on item free of charge and will usually charge $35 each way for your first checked bag at or under 50 pounds. The price for additional bags will depend on the route you’re taking and on additional factors as well.

The linear dimensions must be 62 inches (158 centimeters) or less. Many airlines refer to “maximum linear dimensions” when talking about baggage allowances.
12 mar 2024 · Delta caps the weight for checked luggage at 50 pounds. If your bag weighs 51 to 70 pounds, that will cost you an extra $100 each way. Bags that weigh in at 71 pounds to 100 pounds will incur another $200 fee. And bags that weigh more than 100 pounds aren't allowed, period.
