Weight restrictions at no extra charge vary by cabin. Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Delta Comfort+ and Delta Premium Select passengers should follow the standard 50 lb limit per piece. Delta One, First, and Business passengers should follow the 70 lb limit per piece.
Up to 10 bags may be checked per passenger on flights operated by Delta or Delta Shuttle. Up to 4 bags may be checked bags on Delta Connection® carrier flights. We may limit the amount of excess baggage when such excess prevents us from transporting up to two bags per passenger.
Our gate or flight personnel may need to further limit the amount of carry-on baggage for a particular flight, depending on the cabin storage capacity of the plane and the expected number of passengers.

18 mar 2024 · Checked bags can’t weigh more than 50 pounds (23 kilograms) for economy and 70 pounds (32 kilograms) for Delta One, first, or business class. The linear dimensions must be 62 inches (158 centimeters) or less. Hot Tip: Many airlines refer to “maximum linear dimensions” when talking about baggage allowances.
