18 mar 2024 · Delta Air Lines follows a fairly standard baggage policy regarding free carry-on bags. It charges average fees for flights within the U.S. or between the U.S. and Canada or Mexico and includes 1 to 2 bags in the base fare for international flights (dependent on cabin class).
Fees are charged for each additional bag, each way. Some destinations may have additional restrictions as well. Please review the breakdown below. All baggage fees listed below are current and applicable for all ticketing on or after today when Delta's baggage rules are determined to apply.
Each passenger flying with Delta can bring 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item free of charge (such as a purse, laptop bag or item of similar size that will fit underneath the seat in front of you).
