The Detroit Air Xpress, or DAX for short, is a pilot express bus service, that connects Downtown Detroit to DTW airport with the city’s first express shuttle bus that runs between the two.
Beginning March 25, 2024, DAX will offer up to 16 daily round trips, 365 days a year, with buses running from 3:30 am to 11:00 pm. Pickup and drop-off locations include: - Downtown Detroit stop on the west side of Washington Blvd near State St. - Departures at the McNamara Terminal, and Ground Transportation at the Evans Terminal
