All passengers traveling on AirTran Airways are restricted to one bag plus one small, personal item (e.g. purse, briefcase, camera, food container, or laptop). The carry-on bag must be stowed either under the seat in front of the passenger, or in the overhead bin.
AirTran Airways limits carry-on bag dimensions to 24” long x 16” wide x 10” tall. If the bag exceeds these dimensions, it is considered too large to be a carry-on item and must be checked. All carry-on items must fit under the seat or in the overhead bin.
7 mar 2023 · I have to argue about "most" airlines having a size of 22 inches for carryons. It is generally 21 to 21.5 inches max, INCLUDING the wheels. So you will conceivably be asked to check a 22 incher and possibly pay a fee.
