5 kwi 2021 · While the process isn’t particularly obvious you can use Maps to measure the distance between any two points. This may be useful if you’re planning a trip, or want to figure out a walking route or new location.
Simply enter any desired location into the search function and you will get the shortest distance (air line) between the points, the route (route planner) as well as all important information. Of course, you can also determine distances between coordinates (latitude / longitude).
Click Calculate Distance, and the tool will place a marker at each of the two addresses on the map along with a line between them. The distance between them will appear just above the map in both miles and kilometers. The tool is useful for estimating the mileage of a flight, drive, or walk.
