The AirStation may be used as either a full wireless router or a simple access point. The switch has three positions: ON (Router Mode) - The default LAN-side IP address is 192.168.11.1 and DHCP and NAT are enabled. OFF (AP Mode) - The default LAN-side IP address of the AirStation is 192.168.11.100, and DHCP and NAT are disabled.
Auto mode detects whether your network has a router or not and automatically switches to the appropriate router or bridge mode. You can also manually switch between modes.
