24 kwi 2023 · As you can see, premium economy falls squarely between coach and business class, both in terms of cash cost and mileage redemptions, though it's closer to economy in terms of paid fares. For the last-minute round-trip flights I took, TPG paid $2,554 plus $646.65 in taxes.
I am flying from the US to Norway in Dec and am considering a business class ticket vs premium economy with BA (787-9) or AA (777-200). Is there much of a difference in hard product other than the obvious lie flat (which i really like) between Premium Economy vs Business for each?
23 cze 2024 · The biggest difference between economy and premium economy on American Airlines (other than the price) is the seat size. Seats in premium economy are wider and have a greater pitch (the distance between seats) that allows for more recline.
Premium economy is comparable to domestic recliner first, and with an economy meal and service. Business is lie-flat pods with a business class meal and beverages, plus lounge access on the ground. Both are a lot better than economy.

Unlike its business class, which varies significantly from one plane to the next, American's premium economy seat experience is fairly consistent across its fleet.
