19 kwi 2021 · The Summit County Court of Common Pleas, General Division, is a court of general jurisdiction, handling both criminal and civil cases. The Common Pleas Court is charged with dispensing justice, resolving disputes, and protecting the constitutional rights of those who appear before the Court.
Akron Municipal Court. The Akron Municipal Court now serves a jurisdiction which includes the cities of Akron and Fairlawn; the townships of Bath, Richfield, and Springfield; the villages of Lakemore and Richfield; and that part of Mogadore in Summit County.

The Summit County Court of Common Pleas, General Division, is a court of general jurisdiction, handling both criminal and civil cases. Ten Judges preside over both types of cases which number more than 1,600 each year. The Courthouse is located at 209 South High Street in the Downtown Akron district.
