20 mar 2023 · How to use Google Maps offline. Open the Google Maps app. Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner. Tap “Offline Maps.” Tap “Select Your Own Map.” Move the rectangle over the area you plan to visit. Click “Download.” And if you’re staying in a specific location — such as a city or a town — there’s an even simpler way:
Open the Maps app on your iPad. Tap your picture or initials next to the search field, then tap Offline Maps. Scroll down and choose the settings you want to change. In Maps on iPad, download maps so you can use them when iPad doesn’t have Wi-Fi or cellular service.
