If you are prone to seasickness go for the bigger highspeed ferries like Champion Jet 1, Champion Jet 2, Worldchampionjet (all 3 from Seajets) or the Santorini Palace from Minoan Lines. On those you can go outside for some fresh air on the outside deck at the back of the ferry.
Many Mykonos hotels offer shuttle service from and to the ports and airports, often for free though sometimes for a fee. The island is small and it's easy to reach most major destinations on the local buses.
Some Seajets ferry's have (very) long daily routes and that leads often to big delays. It depends what Seajet ferry it is. Some of the smaller ones are a real burden when there is some wind. The best Seajet ferries are Champion Jet 1 and Champion Jet 2.

If we come, we'll be arriving on one of the fast ferries from Heraklio ( Crete ). Can anyone tell me which of the two ports these ferries use, as it makes a difference to us in choosing where to stay. Thanks. Jackie.
