We have recently seen an increase in job scams from people or websites impersonating Skyscanner. The scammers usually make unsolicited contact with people via Telegram or WhatsApp, asking them to complete tasks on a fake page carrying Skyscanner's name and logo, in return for commission.
I picked what looked like a good deal with Skyscanner, then flightcatcher that seemed to have good reviews. All looked ok until I received a phone call from them saying if we wanted to sit together, then I had to pay some £320 more and if I didn’t agree today then I couldn’t book together.
