The Congressional Fellowship program was launched in September 2009. This program brings 7-8 women college students or recent graduates to Washington, DC, during the fall and spring semesters to learn about politics and intern on Capitol Hill for a woman Member of Congress.
Throughout this semester-long program, Congressional Fellows learn about politics first-hand from Members of Congress, both in their home District Offices and on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Fellows grow their network of political insiders and understand what it takes to run, win and serve.

30 sty 2024 · Through the Running Start program, students can receive a semester-long Running Start/Walmart Congressional fellowship working primarily in the Senator’s or Representative’s district office. Fellows spend one week in Washington, DC for in-person training, and then continue that training with weekly leadership workshops.
