12 sie 2021 · The default vehicle GUI uses the magnitude of the velocity to get the speed. local speed = vehicleSeat.Velocity.Magnitude The only flaw to this is when the car falls off the map the speed will increase crazily (you can try it yourself)
19 lip 2021 · My chassis has four motors that rotate the wheels using AngularVelocity. I use the following equation to calculate it. MaxSpeed * MoveVector.Z. My vehicle uses gears, which set the max speed every time the vehicle shifts to a new one (along with torque). This works, but, the max speed is always higher than what I set it to.

15 paź 2021 · What I want is to check velocities of parts flying through the air This way I can -Make them do nothing to the player if it’s too slow -Make them stick into the player if they’re going fast enough -Make them instantly kill the player if they’re going really fast. How would I go about doing this?
22 kwi 2022 · Syncing sound to velocity is one way to do it. You might run into weird sounds if your vehicles ever fall from a height. (the pitch will get very high and squeaky) A better way might be to tie the pitch to the thrust or wheel angular rotation speed depending on how you power your vehicle.
17 cze 2022 · I am currently trying to make a system that detects the speed of a vehicle that uses A-chassis. If the vehicle exceeded a certain speed, the system will give a warning sound and a icon will lit up.
