This is feeling like a scam. 3 out of 3 times, they've made one offer and then slashed it to a third of the original offer once they'd made me wait. Looking over other threads here, I'm seeing plenty of complaints about similar behavior from Phobio and a lack of people saying anything to the effect of "worked for me!"

I’ve researched Phobio to make sure it’s legit, and I’ve also checked out several popular websites for selling and buying used phones in order to find out how Phobio compares.
I've used their trade in partner Phobio on three used Apple laptops. It's mail in. If you follow the website, it asks you to put in the laptop serial # and it generates the data about year, model etc based on that. You can do it just to check the price, no need to commit! Should work for M1.
