Center and radius: The values of h and k in the equation represent the x and y coordinates of the center of the circle, while r represents the radius of the circle. Understanding and manipulating these values will allow us to plot the circle accurately in Excel.
The first thing to do is to understand that a circle is made can be created using two ways. 1) a parametric equation x^2 + y^2 = R^2 where R is the radius and X and Y are the coordinates of each point. 2) the sin (stands for sinus) and cos (stands for cosinus) function. x = R x Cos (angle) and y = R x Sin (angle) The easiest is the second one.

Note that you may need to use 16 instead of 8 - you never said if your circle was diameter or radius....

Easy so far. A1 is the centre point of the radius latitude. B1 is the centre point of the radius longitude. C1 is the radius required in miles.
