We travelled earlier this year from Topolobampo to La Paz by Baja Ferries with our vehicle and dog.Their Website stated that the dog would remain in the vehicle on this ship "California Star", and not in the Cargo area. It is a 6 hour nightly ferry leaving at 11.00pm.

The one I talk about in this post is the route from Topolobampo (the closest ferry terminal to Los Mochis) to La Paz, on the Baja California peninsula. There is a second route between Mazatlán and La Paz.
Ferries follow one of two routes: La Paz <-> Topolobampo, 8 hours; La Paz <-> Mazatlan, 12 hours; Baja Ferries operates 4 ships. All four depart each night at midnight, one at each end of each route, arriving in the early to late morning at their destination.
