Checked Baggage Allowance. Your specific baggage allowance is stated on your ticket and at Manage my Booking on the KLM website. Baggage allowance varies based on the class you are traveling, your destination and your frequent flyer status. Economy class: 1 piece not exceeding 50.5 lbs/23 kg and 62in/158 cm (length + width + height)
Passengers travelling in Economy class are permitted to carry one piece of hand luggage not exceeding 55 x 35 x 25cm, and a personal item not exceeding 40 x 30 x 15cm with a combined weight of 12KG.
After booking your ticket, you can still buy additional items of checked baggage (up to 23 kg per item) via My Trip. When purchasing it at least 24 hours before departure, you’ll pay: between EUR 20 and EUR 70 on flights within Europe; between EUR 30 and EUR 240 on intercontinental flights.
