What is Delta Airlines' (DL) fee for overweight baggage? Delta Airlines (DL) will charge the following for bags that are greater than the standard 50 pounds or 23 kilograms on U S domestic flights: 51 to 70 pounds or 24 to 32 kilograms: $100.00 USD extra per bag.
12 mar 2024 · Delta caps the weight for checked luggage at 50 pounds. If your bag weighs 51 to 70 pounds, that will cost you an extra $100 each way. Bags that weigh in at 71 pounds to 100 pounds will incur another $200 fee. And bags that weigh more than 100 pounds aren't allowed, period.
Each passenger flying with Delta can bring 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item free of charge (such as a purse, laptop bag or item of similar size that will fit underneath the seat in front of you).
