  2. Continuing Education. The Real Estate Commission requires 20 hours of continuing education every biennium (two-years) for each real estate licensee. Currently, this includes two Core courses (Core A & Core B) which cover a legislative update and other real estate topics, with the remainder of your hours available for elective courses.

  3. 2023-2024 Hawaii Core A: This course highlights Hawaii legislative laws that passed in 2023 and impacted real estate transactions. You’ll also review property disclosure requirements and best practices to ensure licensees comply with Hawaii law.

  4. The required continuing education hours include six hours for the Hawaii Real Estate Commission designated core courses and 14 hours of elective credit hours. The core course is divided into two parts: Part A and Part B. This course is Part A and is approved for three hours of continuing education.

  5. Licensees who wish to reactivate a license need at least 20 credit hours of continuing education (core course + elective courses). The previous biennium’s core course is available through May 31 of odd-numbered years.

  6. Hawaii Real Estate Continuing Education. Be sure to rotate between Package #1, #2 and #3 for each renewal period, so you do not repeat the same courses you've taken during the previous renewal period. The new 2023 Core A is now available!

  7. Hawaii Requirement Details for Real Estate Continuing Education. The Eddie Flores Real Estate Continuing Education School is an approved real estate CE School in Hawaii; license number 35. We are also approved to provide Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for licensed CPAs in Hawaii.
