How it works. You’ll collect Avios and earn Tier Points on almost all our flights except Reward Flights, agency discounted fares and industry discounted fares. The amount you collect depends on which airline you fly with, the cabin you fly in, the type of ticket you hold and your Executive Club Tier. Each airline's policies are set out below.
This shows how many Tier Points you've earned in your current Tier Point Collection Year and your current Tier Point Collection Year end date. To view Tier Points earned in previous Tier Point Collection Years, click on ‘My Statement’ and filter by date range and transaction type.

Here’s an ingenious Avios and Tier Point calculator to help plot your ascent through the ranks. With the rate at which you collect Avios increasing from tier to tier, before you know it, you’ll also be able to book Reward Flights and upgrades using Avios.
