9 kwi 2022 · If your booking hasn't been ticketed yet you won't be able to select a seat. If you go into the flight details page in the BA app right at the bottom there is a ticket number field, if this is blank then that's probably why.
Manage my booking allows you to: View details of your travel itinerary. View your seat and meal requests. Make seat requests from an interactive seating plan. Make meal requests from a list of available special dietary meals. Provide Advance Passenger Information (e.g. passport and other details).

Click on the arrow symbol at the side of one of your flights, which reveals a list of options or services you can arrange – one of these options is “Seating”.
