If you want to get from A to B and don't really care about buying food or any other extras, then yes, Spirit is fine. I've flown Spirit several times as well as Frontier and it's basically just like any other airline.

Spirit Airlines is as bad as its reputation and worse!! Not only do they nickel and dime you (more like $100s), but the travel experience is the worst. By the time you pay all the fees, you'll come out the same on a reputable and more comfortable airline.
