  1. The Rhumb line is usually longer than GC distance but it will get you to same destination without making any other course change after you find and follow the Rhumb line path. I decided to give it a try and completely deviated from my flight path after I was cleared for R002.

  2. It's a flight path that allows you fly straight to your destination, without having to change your heading constantly as is necessary when flying a great circle route. Rhumb line is a longer distance, though.

  3. I know Rhumb line is Used for FF to go to an Straight line and no need to change Heading again and again, But idk how to setup an Rhumb line, Please…

  4. • 2 yr. ago. Got an offer before work yesterday, DFW-HNL on the B787. Set the rhumb line, did a bit of quick math to set my speed (262mph and flaps set to 1 just in case) and went to the office. I got home afterwards with 27nm left to R015 and had her on the ground within 5 minutes of walking in the door.

  5. For hub-to-hub flights, I take the rhumb line distance then subtract about 150 nm before I make my speed calculation. That gives me room to maneuver to (or back to) the last R WP without getting too close to the destination field and getting a failure for overflying the field.

Not using the rhumb line requires course adjusting, especially between the R00 points.

  7. Kingmakers for table top games in Short North. Book Loft in GV. The bottoms are being gentrified. Don’t travel west of 315. I’d stay in between 315 and downtown as far as the westside goes. I’d also direct you to Polaris over Easton.
