The Real Estate Tax rate for the current year is $0.74 per $100 of assessed value. Real Estate tax rates are set annually by the York County Board of Supervisors in the month of May. The Real Estate Book is prepared by the Commissioner of the Revenue and the taxes are collected by the Treasurer.

There are several ways to pay your Treasurer bill. Please make checks payable to: Treasurer, County of York. Online. Business License, Consumer/Excise Taxes, Dog Tags, Personal Property Taxes, Vehicle Registrations, Real Estate Taxes and York County Utility Bills may be paid with an Electronic Check, Visa or MasterCard.
Receive Your Bill Online. The Treasurer's Office offers the option to receive Personal Property and Real Estate tax bills electronically. If you are a mortgage or escrow servicer, do not enroll your email for the eBill option on a real estate parcel.
All real estate is subject to taxation, except that specifically exempted by state code. Property is assessed on January 1. Tax bills are due in 2 equal installments, June 25 and December 5. All real estate in York County is reassessed by the York County Real Estate Assessment Office every 2 years.
