13 mar 2023 · In the Web Browsing Protection window, uncheck the box next to “Use McAfee Secure Search as my default search engine”. Then, click “OK” to save your changes. That’s all there is to it! Now, McAfee will no longer automatically change your search engine.
I just go to settings, search engine and switch back to Google as default. This happens every time I unknowingly give Mcaffee permission to switch by clicking OK or done on a Macaffe pop up.
