On 27 September 2022, the Leadership of Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego appointed the Organising Committee for the 26th World Scout Jamboree. The preparation process for this largest educational event in the world – in which over 50,000 scouts from more than 170 countries will participate – is divided into several stages.
The World Scout Jamboree is a major international event organised by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). Held every four years, it brings together tens of thousands of Scouts, aged 14 to 17, from around the globe to promote cultural exchange, friendship, and adventure.
The Organising Committee for the XXVI World Scout Jamboree has been established by Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego as a foundation under the Host Organisation Agreement, providing a legal entity for the planning and delivery of the World Scout Jamboree Poland 2027.
The 2027 Jamboree will be hosted in Poland, a country located in Central Europe with 38.5 million inhabitants and known for itswarm hospitality. The Polish Scouts aim to engage the next generation of young leaders and plan to centre their programme around the theme “bravely”.
The World Scout Jamboree is a Scouting jamboree of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, typically attended by several tens of thousands of Scouts from around the world, aged 14 to 17. At the jamboree, many scouts swap badges.
26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland. Our next World Scout Jamboree will take place from 30 July to 8 August 2027 in Gdańsk, Poland.
