Our home is Flint, Michigan – we began in a neighborhood east of downtown. Over the past four years our city has been rocked by a water crisis that should not have happened and has dominated almost every other Flint story. We have wrestled with documenting that story.
The Flint Cultural Center is without question the crown jewel of the East Village neighborhood. It could reasonably be called the crown jewel of the entire city. Ten museums, theaters, cultural institutions, and park grounds sprawl on a beautiful tree-lined campus donated by the Mott family.
