All transactions for the Complete Streets Funding Program are managed through an online Portal. Each municipality has one registered user who manages the account. The public does not have access to the Portal, but can view municipal documents on the map below.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Complete Streets Funding Program was created by legislative authorization through the 2014 Transportation Bond Bill1 with the intent of rewarding municipalities that demonstrate a commitment to embedding Complete Streets in policy and practice.
Complete Streets are roadways that safely and comfortably accommodate all users, regardless of age and ability or mode of transportation. Users include, but are not limited to: motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, public transportation riders and providers, emergency response vehicles, freight operators, and, school buses.

28 paź 2019 · The Complete Streets Funding Program has shown success in both attracting participation and advancing participants through the program tiers. 67% of Massachusetts’ 351 municipalities are at some stage of participation in the program. 89% of Massachusetts municipalities have completed MassDOT Complete Streets training.
