The CDL drivers stay within a 100 air mile radius of their work reporting location. Non-CDL drivers stay within 150 air mile radius. 2. The driver returns to his/her work reporting location and are released from work.

While this is possibly the most widely used hours-of-service exemption, it may be the most commonly misused exemption, as well.
