Use this stitch to join two pieces of fabric to create an open work appearance and add design interest. Fold under each fabric edge 5/8 ̋ (1.5 cm) and press. Pin the two edges to paper or tear backing 1/8 ̋ (0.3 ~ 0.4 cm) apart. Sew slowly, guiding the fabric so the needle catches the folded edge on each side.

3 lip 2012 · Wing needle entredeux is stitched over 11″ sleeve gathered to 5 1/2″. Entredeux is also stitched along the sleeve edge. The 1/2″ excess fabric was trimmed away and then the lace was butted to the entredeux and joined with a zig zag.
Thread and Needle Chart. In general, fine threads and needles are used for sewing thin fabrics, and thicker threads and needles are used for sewing heavy fabrics. Always test thread and needle size on a small piece of the fabric which will be used for actual sewing. Use the same thread for needle and bobbin.

8 mar 2012 · I use a 110/18 Wing needle, and the stitch I prefer is the entredeux stitch pattern (check in your sewing machine manual to see if your model includes this stitch). If your machine does not have it, try using the venetian, daisy, zigzag, or triple zigzag. The pattern must flow from side to side.
