8 mar 2012 · I use a 110/18 Wing needle, and the stitch I prefer is the entredeux stitch pattern (check in your sewing machine manual to see if your model includes this stitch). If your machine does not have it, try using the venetian, daisy, zigzag, or triple zigzag.
3 lip 2012 · beading/gathered entredeux –Entredeux can be made over gathers on fine fabrics. When I do this, I always use Stitch & Ditch stabilizer. This technique made perfect beading for an American Girl doll dress I made several years ago. Wing needle entredeux is stitched over 11″ sleeve gathered to 5 1/2″.
3 cze 2014 · Stitch a tiny zigzag (L and W=1.0) from the right side so that one needle swing goes into the "ditch" right next to the "ladder" of the entredeux, and the other needle swing just catches the fold of the fabric. Starch and press one more time.
