I kept the original rail (not UIT like the new Izhmash production) and buy a Handstop Anshutz 4751 which has been machined to introduce in the original Russian rail.

20 gru 2023 · Were any of the Vostok CM-2 rifles tapped for scope bases or grooved for rings. I have two, one is near mint with receiver sights that isn’t tapped or grooved and another that is tapped for bases.
14 lis 2014 · I had a CM-2 for many years as a prone target rifle - Typically 1970's Russian, solid and dependable but pretty basic. It was accurate with a fairly good trigger. The stock was very basic, probably birch and finished is what looked like congealed treacle.
11 kwi 2018 · This is my Vostock CM-2 before I had it D&T'd for Weaver bases and mounted a scope. The "1004" on the bottom of your stock may not be the stock's serial number but is more likely a rack number for inventory purposes.
