To request an upgrade for an existing reservation, sign in to your MileagePlus account or call the Premier Priority Desk phone number on your digital membership card. You can request a PlusPoints upgrade from the time you get your ticket until your flight check-in cutoff time.
You may request credit for up to four flight segments at one time. Requests may be submitted up to 12 month after the date of your flight. The required information is located on your boarding pass stub and ticket receipt and should be entered exactly as displayed on the document.

1 sty 2023 · You can request these upgrades when purchasing your ticket or after purchase by clicking on "Manage your reservation" and clicking the "Upgrade cabin" button at the top of the screen. MileagePlus upgrades are valid on most paid tickets on United-operated flights, excluding basic economy tickets, if seats are available.

You can find this type of ticket by selecting the MileagePlus upgrade award option (MUA) from the drop-down menu on the advanced search page.
