26 maj 2024 · The Cotswolds are in (my opinion) best explored by car (though parking can be an issue during the summer) as public transport options are limited. There are excellent links to the area via the national motorway network and the M4, M5 and M40.

21 lip 2023 · It can be tough to find a parking spot in Bibury and so I recommend going there first for that very reason. We parked a little further out and walked in (around 10 minutes). There’s a free car park in Burford at the lower end of the town set next to the river Windrush.
Where to park: The car park in Bourton-on-the-Water is located on the High Street, as you come from the main A429 road. Parking here is free but limited to one and a half hours. Alternatively, check out the Station Road Car Park, which costs £3/day.
