RSC Preservation runs on the Open RuneScape Classic source code. It is possible to play RSC Preservation on many different platforms, including Windows 95 to Windows 11, Mac, Linux, BSD, through a web browser, on a Nintendo Wii or even on the Nintendo 3DS.
An open sourced RuneScape Classic emulator started in 2018 by the community. These are sources and clients from all different protocols released by the owners/developers.
A RuneScape Classic server is a computer that hosts RuneScape Classic game world, and is operated by Jagex. By connecting to a server, many players can play on a single world and interact with each other.
