2 sty 2024 · I just ran into this, I fixed by using Revo Uninstaller to call the uninstall of Runemate, proceed as normal, you'll then be prompted to delete old registry keys (use Moderate option, selecte all & Delete).

I recently downloaded Runemate and got this warning. Im pretty sure i downloaded it from the right website because its literally the name then .com. I know a lot of people use it but why is it popping this up?

The easiest thing to do would be to create a new account (or alt) to bot on, but make it as a regular account (not a jagex account) until a solution for using jagex accounts gets figured out. Or like I mentioned you can join the Runemate discord & try to work out a solution with other devs.
