Prusa has build an awesome system with printables and the prusameters. However it is so sad to see people steal designs/pictures, make fake makes and reupload models that are already on the site as remixes without remixing anything.
Printables currently runs no ads and gives away free Prusameters and contest prizes. Development, moderation, servers, etc. are not free so the site has to be a sizable money pit. A revenue stream is needed to keep the site viable as a business.
2 lut 2023 · A couple months ago, I was able to browse the printables web site and download a printable. Now when I visit, I'm repeatedly challenged to verify I'm human and get nowhere. The site just refreshes and I get the same challenge (see attached image). It doesn't seem to matter what web browser I use on my laptop.
I actually wanted to price out a Prusa recently and went to prusaprinters.org instinctively - you know, since I was looking for a Prusa printer. I know it's just a name change, but I bet this will really help the site get more popular.
