11 sty 2008 · First on my list is a Quick Change Toolpost. For this size lathe should I be jumping right in for Aloris (BXA set ~ $750), Phase II (200 set ~ $290) ... Enco current prices, or mixing it up with the Aloris Toolpost and Phase II holders?

23 paź 2012 · I used to think my Phase II was great, until I realized I was constantly recalibrating my DRO after tool changes. Happened upon a used Aloris and my eyes were opened! Then I found a new Dorian BXA set for an unbelievable price and that was every bit as good as the Aloris.
8 mar 2019 · I had to modify some low cost tool holders from CDCO years ago to fit the Phase II tool post, the flat "base" of the dovetail needed around 15 thou shaved off. Some folks say the cheap tool holders don't match the Aloris dimensions, others say Phase II screwed up and missed on the tool post size.
