Neurosurgical Review provides a forum for comprehensive reviews on current issues in neurosurgery. While a focus is on review articles, the journal also publishes high-quality original research.
The goal of Neurosurgical Review is to provide a forum for comprehensive reviews on current issues in neurosurgery. Each issue contains up to three reviews, reflecting all important aspects of one topic (a disease or a surgical approach).
1 mar 2023 · Eight leading neurosurgery journals were analyzed to identify original articles and reviews, collected via randomized, stratified sampling per published issue per year from 2016 to 2020. Bibliometric data on publication speed were gathered for each article.
Neurosurgical Review accepts the following papers: Systematic Review; Research; Guideline; Protocol; Correspondence; Mini Review; Reporting Guidelines. Neurosurgical Review supports complete and transparent reporting of biomedical and biological research and research with biological applications.
