Simply enter the destination, travel class and approximate price of the flight. If you’ve already booked a flight and would like to know how many miles and Points you’ll actually earn, use precise calculation. Enter the exact flight information, ticket price and your booking class (es).
The mileage calculation takes into account the ticket price and all the surcharges levied by the Miles & More partner airline. Points are calculated according to the travel class. This information can be found in your booking or on your passenger receipt.
A continental flight is a flight segment for which the departure and arrival airports are on the same continent. For example, if you fly with Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Barcelona, both the departure and arrival airports are within Europe and the flight therefore counts as a continental flight.

Tickets booked with a Miles & More member airline — like Lufthansa and Swiss — will earn miles based on fare cost. If you're traveling on a Star Alliance partner flight that's not ticketed by a Miles & More airline, you'll earn miles based on distance flown.
