get the players position into a score (on the axis that you want to include in this calculation), subtract that from the position of your goal, and there you have your distance, which you can then store into the bossbar.
To get from cm to km, you'll need to divide the distance flown in cm by 100000. Add the two objectives: /scoreboard objectives add DistanceFlownCm stat.aviateOneCm. /scoreboard objectives add DistanceFlownKm dummy. Because we can only divide by other scores, we'll need to store what you'll be dividing by in a score somewhere.
